West Coast Sportsfield Training Day Report

12.04.24-WCTAlogo-grassonly.jpgThere certainly was a lot of hubbub surrounding the inaugural West Coast Sportsfield Training Day conceived and hosted by WCTA Past President/STA Director and Manager of Parks Operations for the Township of Langley, Tab Buckner.   Judging by the email and phone inquiries received by the WCTA office, a lot of people were pleasantly surprised to learn a summertime event with education and a supplier trade show was being planned.

TLN Interview With Keith Lyall, 2013 WCTA President

Keith Lyall:  I’m 40 years old, I have been in the golf industry since 1995, but have been in landscape and residential construction since I was 13. Currently employed at Sun Peaks Golf Course where I have been the superintendent since 2005. My Wife, Bobbe and one year-old son, McLean and I live in Sun Peaks, we are both originally from Kamloops. I also have a ten year-old daughter, Ailisa who lives in Calgary.
