Water Shortage Response Plan Amended
Metro-Vancouver released its amended Water Shortage Reponse Plan (WSRP) May 6, 2016. The most obvious change from the previous pollicy is an automatic activation of Stage 1 restrictions on May 15 of each year.

Ledgeview Golf Club in Abbotsford Burns Down

Fire crews in Abbotsford spent Tuesday morning fighting a large fire that broke out at a golf club.
Ledgeview Golf and Country Club on McKee Road has suffered significant damage and investigators are trying to figure out what started the fire. Most of the damage is at the back and the side of the buildings.

Great Support for Pat Dooley Endowment Golf Tournament
Patrick Dooley was son of former KPU Faculty Steve Dooley. Pat excelled at sports and especially loved golf. He hoped to enroll in KPU's Turf Management Diploma program upon high school graduation. He passed away at the age of 16 on February 5, 2008 after a short illness.
