Health Canada PMRA Re-Evaluates Itself

Pesticides are regulated under the Pest Control Products Act, which is administered by Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA).  As part of the PMRA’s ongoing efforts to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of its programs, in 2016 it introduced a number of improvements to post-market processes* to streamline its work and eliminate duplication.

Ministry of Environment Report Indicates Majority of BC Golf Courses Non-Compliant With New IPM Rules

The Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy amended the Integrated Pest Management Regulation in December 2015, with the amendments not coming into force until July 1, 2016 in order to give those affected time to come into compliance.
